Back at the castle, Miraz is crowned King of Narnia.

Peter kills the hag and then, seeing Caspian being manipulated by the witch, knocks him down and faces the witch. She quickly begins convincing Peter to release her. Before he can do anything, Edmund shatters the ice, destroying the witch.
As Miraz and his army arrive at Aslan's How, Caspian suggests Peter and Miraz duel one-on-one under the condition of surrender, to buy Lucy and Susan time to find Aslan. Miraz agrees to the duel not wanting to look like a coward in front of his men. The girls are spotted by Telmarine soldiers, so Susan sends Lucy off alone, remaining behind to face the soldiers. A soldier on a horse runs into her, knocking her down. She is rescued by Caspian and they return to the battle. Peter wounds Miraz, but gives his sword to Caspian to finish him off. Caspian spares Miraz's life but says that he will give Narnia back to its people.
Sopespian kills Miraz with one of Susan's arrows and accuses the Narnians of shooting Miraz, leading to a battle between the Telmarines and the Narnians, with the Telmarines gradually winning. Lucy finds Aslan in the woods and he awakens the trees. The battle turns as the trees attack the Telmarines. Lord Sopespian orders retreat to a bridge, where they are confronted by Lucy and Aslan. Aslan summons the river god, who destroys the bridge, killing Sopespian. The battle is won with the surviving Telmarine soldiers surrendering.
Before the Pevensies depart Narnia, Peter and Susan are told by Aslan that they have gained everything they could from their experiences in Narnia and will never return. Caspian invites the Telmarines to remain in Narnia if they will coexist peacefully with the Narnians; but if they wish, they can return to the human world, from whence they originally hailed. Some agree to do so, and Aslan creates a portal for them and the four Pevensies. Susan and Caspian kiss, knowing they will never meet again. The Pevensies return to England, leaving Caspian as King of Narnia.

Plot

Knowles was born in Houston, Texas, the daughter of Mathew Knowles, a professional record manager, and Tina Knowles, a costume designer and hair stylist. Knowles was baptized after her mother's maiden name, as a tribute to her mother. She is the older sister of Solange a singer-songwriter and actress.

Knowles was schooled at St. Mary's Elementary School in Texas, where she went in dance including ballet and jazz. Her talent in singing was discovered when her dance instructor began humming a song hitting the high-pitched notes. Although a shy girl, as her mother considered her, Knowles' interest in music and performing began. After participating in a school talent show. Once she had a moment on the stage, she overcame her shyness and wanted to become a singer and performer. By age seven, Knowles had entered her first talent show, singing John Lennons Imagine. She won the contest and was honored with a victory. At the same age, Knowles started gaining attention from the press, having been mentioned in the Houston newspaper as a nominee for the local performing arts award The Sammy.

In the fall of 1990, Knowles enrolled in Parker Elementary School, a music magnet school in Houston, where she would perform on-stage with the school's choir. She also attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston and later went to some High School, located in the Houston suburban .Knowles was a soloist in the choir of her church, in St. John's United Methodist Church. She only lasted in the choir for two years, however, because she was with her newfound job.

At the age of eight, Knowles met LaTavia Roberson while in an audition for an all-girl entertainment group. They, along with Knowles' friend Kelly Rowland, were placed into a group that performed rapping and dancing. Originally named Girl's Time they were eventually cut down to six members. With Knowles and Rowland, Girl's Time attracted audience nationally. West coast R&B producer, flew into Houston to see them. He eventually brought them to his studio—The Plant Recording Studios—in Northern California, with Knowles' vocals being featured because they thought she had it in her and the ability to sing. As part of efforts to sign Girl's Time to a major label record deal, the producers strategy was to put them in Star Search, the biggest talent show on national TV that time. Girl's Time participated in the competition but lost it because the song they performed was not good, Knowles herself admitted. Knowles had her first "professional setback" after that defeat, but regained confidence after learning that pop stars Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake had also the same experience.

To manage the group, Knowles' father resigned in 1995 from his job. He dedicated his time and established them in a boot camp for their training. The move reduced Knowles' familys income by half and her parents moved into separated apartments because of the pressure. Not long after the inclusion of Rowland, Mathew cut the original lineup to four, with LeToya Luckett joining in 1993. Rehearsing in Tina's Headliners Salon and their backyards, the group continued performing as an opening act for other established R&B girl groups of the time, Tina contributed to the cause by designing their costumes, which she continued to do throughout the Destiny's Child . With the continued support of Mathew, they kept on doing it before record labels and were finally signed to Records lables, only to be dropped months later before they could release an album.
